Dr. Farah Madhani-Lovely, M.D., Pulmonary and Critical Care
Dr. Farah Madhani-Lovely is a Pulmonary and Critical Care doctor with more than 20 years of experience, practicing at Renown Health. In the last five years, she has been responsible for development and expansion of the Pulmonology Critical Care Service at Renown South Meadows Medical Center and the Assistant Dean of Clinical Research at University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Selected research interests include evaluating characteristics and outcomes in COVID-19 patients; examining use of remote oxygen-monitoring in COVID-19 patients for acute health care, safety and cost management; site investigator for the Nightingale trial to assess a non-invasive nasal swab to screen patients to evaluate lung nodules; reducing the burden of COPD, interstitial lung disease, hypertension, and asthma amongst patients in Northern Nevada; and testing cutting edge technology to examine and monitor pulmonary lung function for virtual and in-person pulmonary rehabilitation sessions.

Lee S. Schwartzberg, M.D., is a highly esteemed medical professional and academic who has made significant contributions to the field of Hematology and Oncology. Currently serving as the Section Chief of Medical Oncology Administration at Renown Health, Dr. Schwartzberg has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication to advancing the field through his research, teaching, and patient care expertise.
As a former Professor of Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Dr. Schwartzberg played a pivotal role in shaping the future of Hematology/Oncology. Michael J. Bloch, MD, FAHA, FACP, FASH, FVM, FNLA
Dr Bloch's undergraduate degree is from Princeton University, and he earned his medical degree from Georgetown University Medical School in Washington, DC. He subsequently completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City, where he also completed a Fellowship in hypertension and vascular medicine. Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Dr Bloch has been designated a Clinical Hypertension Specialist by the American Society of Hypertension, a Clinical Lipid Specialist by the American Board of Clinical Lipidology, and a Vascular Medicine Specialist by the American Board of Vascular Medicine.
Dr. Bloch recently served as Vice President of the Board of the American Society of Hypertension (ASH) and as a Member at Large of the Board of Directors of the American Heart Association’s Council on Hypertension. He is a past-president of the Board for the American Heart Association Northern Nevada Chapter and serves as a member of the Board of the Pacific Lipid Association. He is Fellow in the American College of Physicians, the American Heart Association, the American Society of Hypertension, the National Lipid Association, and the Society of Vascular Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Bloch serves as Medical Director of Vascular Medicine and Anticoagulation Services at the Renown Medical Center Institute for Heart and Vascular Health. Dr. Bloch has served as a principal investigator on numerous clinical trials, most recently focused in the field of device therapy for hypertension. His academic work has been published in multiple journals and textbooks, and he is currently the co-author of the UpToDate hypertension page. He is a frequent participant in educational projects around the nation and internationally, focused on best practices in the management of hypertension, dyslipidemia, anticoagulation, vascular disease, and heart disease and stroke prevention.
